D+12: Read only
I tried an experiment today - no phone, no computer. Just me, books, chores, the fridge and the bathroom.
I am proud of myself, I made it to 4PM. I was reading about the BPD the whole day and I was reflecting on my past, present and thinking patterns. It is exhausting. The BPD is serious. Some of the components described in the books are TOO familiar to me.
I’ve learned about the concept of Splitting. It sounds awful. Yet so familiar. A person is either good. Or bad. Nothing in between. So familiar.
I would like to think that I’m not extreme like the examples in the book… But man.. I need to give this a lot of thought. Just seeing the concepts named and described is eye-opening.
Knee is fine. Mobility slowly coming back, I will have really nice scars.
Borderline Personality Disorder: A Life-Changing Guide to Successfully Manage BPD, Protect Your Mental Health, and Cultivate Healthy Relationships - This one is very motivational. Not really detailed though.
I Hate You--Don’t Leave Me: Third Edition: Understanding the Borderline Personality - This is a really sad read. Very grounded, researched, but sad.
Psycho - Again after a long time… Still absolutely amazing!
